This Is How You Make Clean Peanut Butter & Chocolate Cups

Chocolate and peanut butter is a classic combination that Americans have gotten right for years. Thanks to some health freaks with a sweet tooth this combination is now ridiculously good for you, because of the protein in peanut butter and antioxidants in cacao.

And we don't mean Reeces Peanut Butter Cups. The combination works because the saltiness of the peanut butter and the sweetness of the chocolate balance each other out.  Try these ridiculously easy and yummy treats right now as there is no time like the present.

Healthy Caramel Peanut Butter Cups 


Caramel Peanut Butter 

  • Date paste - 1 cup (1/2 cup dates and 1/2 cup boiling water)
  • Peanut butter - 1 cup 
  • Vanilla - 1 teaspoon
  • Sea salt - pinch

Raw Dark Chocolate

  • Coconut oil, melted - 3/4 cup 
  • Cacao powder - 1 cup
  • Maple syrup - 1/4 cup 
  • Sea salt - pinch


  1. In a food processor process all caramel peanut butter ingredients together
  2. If using medjool dates you may want to add less or more depending on their size and what your preferred caramel to peanut butter ratio is
  3. Set aside while you make the raw dark chocolate 
  4. Whisk all ingredients together in a heat proof bowl over a bowl of hot water 
  5. Grab some chocolate moulds fill a third with the chocolate mixture (Making sure to go up the sides)
  6. Set in the freezer for 5 minutes (This ensures you get separate layers) 
  7. Fill a third with caramel peanut butter mixture
  8. Set in freezer for another 5 minutes 
  9. Top with chocolate mixture
  10. Freeze for 15 minutes 
  11. Remove from moulds (They should come out easily. If they however don't, return back to freezer for another few minutes)
  12. Store in airtight container in fridge or freezer (depending on how quickly they will get eaten)
  13. Repeat with remaining caramel peanut butter and chocolate until all has been used up
  14. Enjoy
