How To Make A Banging Banana Smoothie

Frozen banana, the OG of smoothie ingredients. Creamy texture, universally available and deliciously sweet. It's also rich in vitamin B6, potassium, fiber, manganese and many more nutrients. 

We pair up this powerful prebiotic with lots of spinach and the delicious combination of cashews, cinnamon and raw honey. This recipe is inspired by the yoghurt, honey and skim milk smoothies Mum used to make us when the bananas got too ripe at home. We kept the flavour but deleted the dairy and made it green. Oh, and we named it after a 1990's cartoon that we used to watch while smoothing. 

Bananaman Smoothie Recipe

  • Takes 3 minutes
  • Makes 1 serving

Ingredients

  • Frozen banana - 1
  • Spinach - 2 cups
  • Cashews - 1/2 cup
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Raw honey - 1 teaspoon
  • Almond milk - 1 1/2 cups

Method

  1. Blend for 30 seconds
  2. Transform into Bananaman or Bananawoman
  3. Fight crime in a skin hugging, colourful outfit
