How To Make A Mean Blueberry Porridge

I was craving porridge and wanted to get blueberries involved, so this recipe was invented. Creamy, heart warming and delicious. Seriously filling too. Those rolled oats are powerful. Fibre, protein and slow releasing energy. What more could you want to kick start the day? 

Blueberry Porridge Recipe

  • Makes 2 servings
  • Takes 15 minutes


  • Blueberries - 1 cup (fresh or frozen)
  • Rolled oats - 1 cup
  • Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons (use maple for a vegan option) 
  • Almond milk - 2 cups
Optional - Vanilla - 1 teaspoon (I use paste)


  • Add all the ingredients to a pot and put on the stove
  • Use medium heat and stir occasionally
  • When it starts to bubble, turn it down to a simmer and continuing stirring
  • Keep it on a simmer for five minutes and then serve warm
  • Garnish with nuts, fresh blueberries, granola, peanut butter or anything else in the cupboard
