Our most popular recipe was the chocolate and peanut butter version. Who would have thought? Creamy, sweet, protein dense and full of good fats. If you have some homemade granola in the house then you're going to really top this off.
The key with any smoothie bowl is your blender. This is when the pricier models pay for themselves. The Optimum 9200 or 9400 or a Vitamix. By having that control stick run down the middle you can push the ingredients into the blade. That's the secret to creaminess. However, more than anything it just makes it more efficient. You can get the same effect with a Nutribullet or crappy KMart blender. You'll just have to stop and start a few times, scraping down the side. Those machines might need a little more liquid too.

Peanut Butter Acai Bowl
- Frozen banana - 1 1/2
- Ice - 1 cup
- Acai powder - 1 heaped teaspoon
- Peanut butter - 1 tablespoon
- Chocolate protein powder - 1/2 scoop
- Almond milk - 2/3 cup
- Blend until creamy
- Garnish with fruits, nuts or homemade granola
