I'm a serial offender at loading up on fruit during a trip to the markets. Only to neglect them more than a middle child as the week goes on.
Bananas and pineapple, and even watermelon, can be cut up and frozen. Or those ripe bananas can be turned into banana bread or immediate pancakes.
Apple, however, doesn't respond too well to frozen procrastination. You have to use them before they age like Ozzy Osbourne.
You can bake them into an apple dessert. Or whip out the blender and create this antioxidant dense smoothie.
