How To Make A Gingerbread Smoothie With Coconut Water

I love ginger. Such a brilliant ingredient. Anti-nausea and immune boosting. I swear it’s good for hangovers too.

It’s also delicious when you pair it with some sweetness. In this smoothie recipe it plays off the coconut water and vanilla protein powder. The antioxidant rich cinnamon helps pop it further.

This recipe sticks to the cookie type colour but don’t be afraid to get some greens in this bad boy too. Two handfuls of spinach will amplify the goodness even further.

Gingerbread Smoothie Recipe w/ Coconut Water

Ingredients 

  • Frozen banana – 1 
  • Spinach – 2 cups
  • Vanilla vegan protein – 1/2 scoop
  • Ginger – 1″ piece (1 teaspoon)
  • Cinnamon – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sea salt – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Ice – 1/2 cup
  • Coconut water – 1 1/2 cups
